When You Thrift, Our Families Thrive
Hillcrest proudly operates some of the best nonprofit thrift stores in Kansas City, offering affordable shopping while making a meaningful difference in our community. With two convenient Kansas City thrift store locations, every purchase, donation, and volunteer hour directly supports Hillcrest’s housing programs.
When you shop at a Hillcrest thrift store, you are doing more than finding great deals. You are helping individuals, families, and unaccompanied youth move from homelessness to self-sufficiency. In fact, 83 cents of every dollar generated through our thrift stores goes right back into our programs. This impact is made possible by the generosity of our donors and the dedication of our volunteers.
There are many ways to get involved with Hillcrest’s thrift stores in Kansas City. You can shop for quality, affordable items, donate gently used goods, or volunteer your time to support our mission.
