Hillcrest offers a rapid re-housing program through its offices in Clay and Clinton counties in Missouri. This program provides case management, housing location assistance, and financial assistance to help literally homeless youth, singles, couples and families with children obtain rental housing of their choosing within the Kansas City's Northland.* A rapid re-housing program for those age 24 and younger also exists for teens, young adults, and parenting youth with children in Clay or Platte counties.
To qualify for rapid re-housing, clients must be literally homeless (living on the streets, in a car, or other place not meant for human habitation, living in an emergency shelter, or fleeing domestic violence/assault).
Participation in Hillcrest's Rapid Re-Housing Programs starts with a Coordinated Entry (CE) Assessment, where you can get matched with a number of housing assistance programs with participating partner agencies.
