Rapid Re-Housing
Hillcrest offers a rapid re-housing program through its offices in Clay and Clinton counties in Missouri. This program provides case management, housing location assistance, and financial assistance to help literally homeless youth, singles, couples and families with children obtain rental housing of their choosing within the Kansas City's Northland.* A rapid re-housing program for those age 24 and younger also exists for teens, young adults, and parenting youth with children.
To qualify for rapid re-housing, clients must be literally homeless (living on the streets, in a car, or other place not meant for human habitation, living in an emergency shelter, or fleeing domestic violence/assault).
Participation in Hillcrest's Rapid Re-Housing Programs starts with a Coordinated Entry (CE) Assessment. Find out more about the CE process here.
We do have some spots that do not require clients to use the CE process. Fill out the application at the link below or contact our office for more information at (816) 994-6935.
(*Includes Clay, Platte, Ray, Andrew, Buchanan, DeKalb, Clinton, Caldwell, Daviess, and Livingston Counties.)
