Hillcrest Transitional Housing has a proven method to move individuals and families from homelessness and to self-sufficiency. Hillcrest serves over 1,020 children, individuals, and families each year through its five residential sites in Johnson and Wyandotte Counties in Kansas and Jackson County in Missouri. Hillcrest also provides rapid re-housing services in Kansas City’s Northland and in Northwest Missouri.

The evening will be full of celebrating the lives that have been changed through Hillcrest's work and the support of our community, as well as looking forward to how we will continue to walk alongside those transitioning out of homelessness.

Hillcrest solves homelessness by helping people reclaim their life situations and regain their self-sufficiency.
In our flagship program, clients receive rent- and utility-free housing while agreeing to follow program guidelines, find and maintain full-time employment, attend life skills classes, participate in community living, and follow a strict budget plan. Hillcrest graduates leave the program with the tools needed to maintain their independence and success. Read some of their stories here.
